Having a blog has forced me to write in a proper way and for a point with evidence. Before entering Mr. Henry's class I had difficulties writing my thoughts clearly and making sure I had evidence in my writing. I can now more confidently write and come up with ideas for my writings. Writing will be a part of my life till I die and maybe even after! In the future I will like to have a few books written and that will be impossible without the skills I'm learning in English. Writing is important from basic to advanced. If you cannot properly write no one will understand what your saying. If you can come up with a detailed writing with much support and interesting facts, you can make millions. Many well known artist sell thousands of book copies. Without writing I wouldn't be able to read. Without reading I wouldn't be able to remember what I learned. And so on. Even though I write for myself, I am now beginning to learn how to write for an audience. Many people live on writing, from a musician to a blog writer writing will always be important.
As you continue blogging and writing for other purposes, remember that you aren't just keeping a journal for private consumption. Think about what your story (the details) are trying to teach your reader. Your most interesting, meaningful posts teach (or re-teach!) me something of value. This means you'll have to figure out what the data you collect for your blogs might mean to your reader. In other words, why are you sharing your first impressions of your job site? Why tell someone how you spend your money? Happy writing!
